Paint, Glaze & Fire is pleased to donate studio time for a charity auction. We’re involved in a variety of community outreach projects, including charity auctions, commemorative tile walls, holiday ornament programs, and many others!
What We Offer
We’re happy to provide a “Paint Your Art Out” card for all charity auctions. A Paint Your Art Out Card gives an adult and child 5 free studio sessions apiece (or 10 child sessions)! They can use it one session at a time or all at once. Studio fees are waived and we will glaze and fire your ceramic pieces for you at no charge. You just pay for your pieces. Plus, receive 10% off the ceramic pieces you paint! That totals up to $70 of total savings!
To get a Paint Your Art Out card for your charity event just come by our shop and talk with a manager.
Ongoing Charity Contributions
Paint Glaze & Fire has also worked with a number of schools in the region – donating the paint, glaze, and firing for charitable projects typically organized by one of the parents. In addition, we’ve worked with the KC Dream Factory, Sheffield Place, SAFEHOME, and Tiles of Hope at the University of Kansas Cancer Center. Attendees for special charity events in the studio are often able to make donations to the organization through Paint, Glaze & Fire. On some occasions, special discounts are offered in exchange for donations or gifts to a specific charity.
Tiles of Hope
We’re proud to contribute to the Tiles of Hope program at KU Med. Tiles of Hope is an arts-in-healing program created so that blood and marrow transplant patients can help express themselves during the transplant process.
Dream Factory
We love what the Dream Factory does to enrich the lives of ill children in the KC area. The Dream Kids came to the studio to paint vases that were sold at the Dream Factory Gala to help raise money to fulfill kids’ dreams.
